Calgary’s Largest Community Art Show and Sale is back…

for the 16^th time showcasing over 20 talented local Canadian artists with over 200 works of art.

The show is being held in the spacious Marda Loop Community Centre. It’s all about the incredible variety of artwork including landscapes, florals, figurative work, portraits, abstracts, animals, western art, and much more. In addition to artwork, a local potter will exhibit and Graham Pettman will feature some of his sculptures. Find art of all kinds – from small paintings up to very large pieces, from oils and acrylics, to watercolours. Some artists will also have art cards and reproductions of their work for sale. This is a great opportunity to view and purchase never before seen artwork. There will be something for everyone … taste as well as budget!

Two days only – Friday, May 11^th from 2 to 9 pm and Saturday, May 12^th, from 10 am to 4 pm. Attend an artists’ reception from 6 to 9 pm on Friday with refreshments. Come meet the artists, one on one, and get some insight into the concepts and thinking behind their artwork.

Each artist is donating a piece for the silent auction to benefit the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank. The silent auction goes from 11 am to 2 pm on Saturday, May 12^th. 100% of the proceeds are being donated to the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank, an organization that serves a great need in our community.

This venue is completely wheelchair accessible with free parking and free admission. Enter to win an original piece of art by one of the artists.
