Calgary’s first-ever hot dog festival is officially here, and it is the ultimate celebration of our two favorite things: dogs and hot dogs!
From May 23 to June 6, restaurants all across the city are firing up the grills to serve up their most creative, mouth-watering hot dog creations. But this festival is not just about delicious food; it is about giving back to an incredible local cause.
The Cause: PALS (Pet Access League Society)
PALS is an amazing organization that provides pet therapy programs to support Calgarians in need. Their mission is to use human-animal interactions to enrich the lives of seniors, adults, teens, and children at the facilities where they reside, improving their overall health and well-being.
Supporting PALS has literally never been tastier! All you have to do is visit any participating restaurant during the festival and order their feature Dog Days hot dog. For every single festival dog sold, $1 is donated directly to PALS by the participating restaurants.
It is that simple! Grab your friends, map out your hot dog route, and let’s eat for a great cause.
